After Stonefur's death, Timberfur briefly took over patrols. When RiverClan joined with ShadowClan to form TigerClan, Timberfur briefly challenged Tigerstar's notion that they were one Clan now. Timberfur continued to serve as a warrior under Leopardstar, though eventually retired as an elder. Crookedstar selected him as his first deputy, though he was later replaced by Crookedstar's brother Oakheart. He was eager to fight for Sunningrocks, but he knew when to back down. Timberfur was chosen to go and take back Graykit and Willowkit from WindClan. He later mentored Frogleap, and helped clean up the camp after the flood.
He was given Whitefang to mentor, and he became mates with Ottersplash, whom he fathered three kits with Sedgekit, Loudkit, and Reedkit. Timberfur was one of RiverClan's senior warriors, often meeting with Hailstar. Timberfur was a RiverClan deputy under Crookedstar's leadership in the forest territories. Timberfur is a big, burly, graying dark brown tom with sleek fur.
